    Welcome to rugbyrecruitwestcoast.com , the website that is here to help make possible your next rugby adventure, whether you be from around New Zealand, or around the world. Our aim is to welcome players to the South Islands beautiful West Coast, who are after either a permanent move to the West Coast, or just one season, and the chance to play club rugby as well as the potential challenge of playing representative rugby for the West Coast. Interested players will be given help from one of six clubs from up and down the West Coast that make up our club competition in finding work, accommodation and settling in to our stunning local surroundings.

    West Coast currently competes in the exciting Heartland Championship, a competition for New Zealand’s amateur and semi-professional provincial unions who compete with fellow unions from all around New Zealand. Playing rep rugby for the West Coast is a great chance to travel around the country and challenge yourself against players from up and down New Zealand at a highly competitive level.     Along with South and Mid Canterbury, Tasman, Buller and Canterbury, West Coast is also a part of the highly successful Crusaders Super Rugby franchise. The West Coast is not only known for it's hospitality and friendliness of the locals, but for it's stunning natural scenary, nestled in between the majestic Southern Alps, and the rugged Coastline that meets the Tasman Sea. The West Coast is blessed with the Franz and Fox glaciers in the south, and breath taking sub tropical rain forests that surround us, with rivers and lakes perfect for fishing and the sea great for surfing.
